10 Recipes for a Rocking Fourth of July

By Molly Siegler, June 22, 2013  |  Meet the Blogger  |  More Posts by Molly Siegler

Whether you stake your claim at the perfect fireworks-watching spot early or feast at home before heading to the show, you’ll need some quick-cooking, festive recipes to sustain you until sunset.

We love a classic cookout for the holiday with pasta salads, baked beans and burgers, but grilled marinated chicken is fun picnic fare (napkins necessary) and an iceberg wedge with blue cheese dressing lends a traditional, but super simple, vibe.

Here are our picks for a fun-loving Fourth. Don’t forget the popsicles!

Classic Blue Cheese Dressing

Refrigerator Pickled Slaw German Potato Salad

Classic Baked Beans Deviled Eggs with Shrimp
Beer-Marinated Citrus Grilled Chicken Perfect Burgers

Chocolate Chip Oat Bars Cherry Ice Pops

Your vegetarian Baked Beans are the very best I've ever tasted!! Please make them in your prepared foods section as I will surely buy them for the weekend and the 4th of July. I frequent the Bellare/West U location. ;)

Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! We will be relaxing outside and listening to music and cooking barbecue baby back ribs to go with homemade potato salad, and string beans, and homemade cherry pie. We will then go and watch the fireworks!
