Cherries are the best! I would take a portion for my family to eat and bake with, and then share the rest with my son's daycare for snacktime and food projects! Great contest! :)

So many cherries, so little time, guess we would just have to gobble them up any way we can.

Oh so many things.... add the spectacular sweetness to my smoothies in the in morning, OR the more fun route - eat them while sitting in a moderately high branch of a tree and have a pit spitting competition with my friends like I did as a kid sitting in the cherry tree in my front yard. The neighbors might think I am a bit cookoo but that is OK.

I would cherish this many cherries! I would juice them, freeze them and eat quite a few of them fresh. They help me (and my husband) deal with the inflammation of arthritis. I treasure the season and a gift of cherries would not go to waste in our home.

I would make jam, jam, and more jam! With any leftover cherries, I'd put handfuls of them into red netting, tie with a bow, and give them to neighbors to enjoy. I love cherries! And I like to share!

We could do so much with 5 lbs. of cherries!!! We would use our brand new pitter and invite friends over to eat them with us! Folks could use the pitter or eat them the old fashioned way, their choice. We would freeze some for smoothies. We would make homemade cherry ice cream. But...the best thing we would do would be to let our oldest child (6yrs. old) eat as many as she wanted without having to say to her, "Don't eat them all, save some for us!!!!!!!!!!"

I would eat them slowly and deliberately. mix them into Greek yogurt, smoothies, bake a pie(really) share with my friends and my dog. Be grateful and mention several times and many places about the wonderful farm who bestowed such a gift to me. Many thanks!
