I would divvy them up among me and my kids and we'd eat them!! We used to have a cherry tree in Germany and would eat pounds of them easy. I miss having sweet sweet cherries to eat!

If I can keep them away from the husband (who was raised in Traverse City, the "cherry capital") I would make jam and sorbet and maybe just dehydrate some!

Between myself and my two boys, there would be no time for baking with them. We all love to eat them on the back porch, and the kids (and sometimes mom too) see who can spit the seeds the furthest! ;)

I would use my cherry plucker to remove the seed then mix them up in the Vitamix I've just won from Whole Foods and make cherry preserves!

I would donate them to Math-Science Leadership summer camp for 6th −12th graders at UW Tacoma. The kids are working hard on their projects and deserve a special treat!

They are my favorite fruit! I would certainly eat big handfuls right away, and then do my two favorite things: make fresh jam to go on biscuits muffins and toast, and then I would make a cherry compote to go in pie form, and to make my favorite bars: blondies with a cherry compote swirl and white chocolate chunks!!! Yummy!!! Oooo please send me these cherries my mouth is watering!

So many ways to eat them--cherry pie (oh my!); cobbler, scones (w/ chocolate and orange zest or almond extract); in salads; fresh for snacking. The possibilities are endless!

Honestly?? I would eat them! I wouldn't have the patience to try and do anything else with them...no baking, freezing or preserving. I am going to eat them straight up - and enjoy it!

CHERRIES! What would I do? Hand them over to my husband, the world's best pie baker to create a few masterpiece pies to share with all we know!

I miss Washington state cherries. Just to hand pick the biggest plump cherries and then sit and snack on them with my kids, we love em! If there is any left over, then I would cut them up for my kale smoothies, they are the best pairing for kale and spinach.

My wife makes a killer cherry amaretto jam and this would give us enough to make it for Christmas gifts this year. (Cherries like this are $7.99 a pound in Fairbanks!)
