We would just eat them! My five year old love loves cherries. He ends up with cherry juice all over his mouth because he cannot stop. I would serve them with breakfast, we'd eat them as a snack, take some to work and maybe throw some in a smoothie. Oh, and don't forget on top of a nice ice cream sundae. MMMhhhh-hope we win!

I would transport these cherries to the Univeral Uniterian Church in Pasadena, from there they would be placed in Lunch Bags which are delivered to feed those who are hungry in the area. However, I'll admit I would also nibble on some of them. Yummy !

I just made fresh cherry muffins with almonds with some cherries I picked up in Michigan over the weekend and they are fabulous! I'd have to bake a few more batches to share with family, friends and co-workers if I had five pounds at my disposal. My children would definitely make a dent with snacking on them. And we tried our hand at strawberry freezer jam a couple weeks ago with fifteen pounds we picked ourselves so why not try making a batch or two of cherry freezer jam? Thanks for offering a contest like this!

I believe my mother named me after "cherry." I have always believed that. I look forward to cherry season every year. My birthday is June 20th, and I always consider cherries one of my presents! I eat them as they are, I freeze some for future use, I make the most delicious cherry galette you ever tasted and truly want to believe that life is just a bowl of cherries! Thank you for your attention to this rant!! And for the opportunity to live the cherry dream!

I love making kale smoothies everyday with all kinds of different fruits, like pinneapple, melon, canteloupe, strawberries, cherries, frozen bananas, 1 tablespoon of flaxseed, 1tablespoon of organic coconut oil, 1 hand full of kale, 1 cup of ice, 1 cup of greek nonfat yogart strawberries, and then mixe it the blender , this is a breakfast and lunch. This kale fruit smoothie will give you so much energy, it is all good stuff you are feeding your body, and it is healthy for you. It is like a red bull, gives you wings, kale and cherries is a red bull it gives you wings...

I would bake a couple of pies for our weekly Bible study--cherry is almost everyone's favorite! I would also love some for fresh eating, and have a few left to freeze. Yum! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Mm, I would eat about 2 lbs as is, freeze 2 lbs for later enjoyment and smoothies, and use the rest in, perhaps, a pie. I already have one round of pie dough in the freezer (foresight).

I would save a lot of money as cherries are very expensive and I made cherry drinks and smoothies and use cherries in everything. This would be a dream come true and would make me very happy!

Cherries, all five pounds? Well I'd try to make some cherry flavoured ice cream for once. Why? Because I'd never done cherry ice cream before. And the rest, I'd freeze to make into healthy cherry and whatever additional fruit juice I'd make for the family.
