I've been a big fan of the Engine 2 diet for awhile now. I plan to increase my meat free days to three or more a week this year and learn some new recipes in the process.

I asked for and was so excited I received the Engine 2 diet book for Christmas. I'm a 40 year young man with a 11 month old little girl and a 28 year old wife that is pregnant with a little boy on the way. Weighing in at 340 lbs I know I have to change my life style so I can be there for my family. I am not utilizing this program in the new year as a resolution I am utilizing this program through goal settings to achieve small achievable goals and reach the 200 lb mark. My wife is on board and we are going to make this change together. I can't wait to see what the life style and new year brings.

Last march at the suggestion of my primary care doctor I started a whole foods plant strong diet. I lost 40 lbs, had both high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and now those are both down to low normals. During the holiday season I veered off my diet a little bit and felt the negative consequences. My New Years resolution is to go plant strong the whole year and enjoy the benefits! I am so excited about Rip having a product line! Anything that makes finding plant strong food easier is awesome!

I have started the new year with a 10-day detox/cleanse and getting in lots of healing herb drinks and fresh juices. After that I will do fruit for a couple of days to transition back to eating plant-based foods. I am hoping my husband will desire to make some changes along with me...he asked me to put your book on his bedside table (he doesn't read so that was exciting). He had a heart attack two years ago and making healthy changes is a slow process...I want to do my part to be healthy and inspire him as well!

Going to the gym 3-4 times a week. Eliminating meat and most dairy (no cheese is really difficult).After my latte in the morning, will drink only water.

My husband and I have been on a plant strong diet for over 2 years. Amazing when you find out what foods REALLY taste like! We're also cyclists and the combo of healthy eating and "knee-friendly" physical activity ratches up the energy like you wouldn't believe! (Great fo weight management too!) I have been neglectful in my healthy eating endeavor over the past month - this was the worst holiday season I can remember fo unhealthful foods - so I'm resolving to jump back in with both feet! Your cereal would be a great way to set my day up on the right foot!

My goal is to eat plant strong full time, and get fitter. I have made the Rips Big Bowl recipe and loved it... looking forward to trying the E2 brand, and to check out the other products that are available. Now I understand where that name comes from !!!! My biggest healthy change that I've already started to make is to put more planning into my meals. I purchase healthy foods from Whole Foods, but it has become too much grab and go. I want to plan tasty & healthy foods to incorporate a wide variety of vitamins & minerals, more plant-based proteins, etc., to make sure I'm not missing out on any good nutrients. Break out of the "box" of making things u already know. I have some excellent new cookbooks and I'm psyched!!!!!! I also do recipe contests so I have some good ideas to try!!!!
