Cranberries are one of my very favorite seasonal items, and I anxiously look forward to their arrival starting in mid-August! I have great memories of washing fresh cranberries by the sinkful in preparation for our family’s classic Thanksgiving fruit salad. My sister and I helped my parents tremendously (I’m sure) by whooshing our hands back and forth in the sink, clinking the cranberries against the sides of the stainless steel. 

This fabulous tart recipe prominently features cranberries which look like fancy jewels after the tart bakes. I love the traditional English pastry influence of this recipe, but with a super-easy press-in crust that’s nutty and rich. Make this recipe for casual dinner parties and fancy dessert buffets. Yum!
