I use broth as a base for most of my evening meals. Just add pasta or brown rice and oodles of veggies -- broccoli, mushrooms, red pepper, red onions, kale or spinach, sweet potatoes, frozen limas, peas, corn, etc. Then I add cooked chicken, turkey, etc, which has been frozen in 3 oz. chunks. Also spices like rosemary, turmeric, oregano. Make sure just enough broth is used to soak up all the veggies, etc. and it's no longer a soup - but a tasty all-in-one meal!
