This blog was mentioned on a message board that I frequent. And, after reading it, I’m blown away by the utter sensitivity and consideration shown within. Whenever I hear about the grotesque salaries paid to people, I shake my head. No one, in my opinion, in corporate business, is worth a seven figure income. And yet, many receive just that. And then there’s the stock options ad nauseum. I wish that there was a Whole Foods closer to where I live. But you can be sure that I will shop at your markets when I can. And, I will also build my own new business on this type of transparent honesty. Kudos to you and your entire company.

The invisible hand of the market always moves faster and much better compared to heavy hand of government. The secrets of economic is always to know something that who else knows.

my first request is that you update your blogs.Your last one of Sept. 2008 is outdated.. I shop at T. J. and W. F. because both of them are in my neighborhood. I know what products to buy at T. J. and at W.F., in general, I have returned more products I bought at T.J. than at W.F. mainly because of the quality and sometimes also because of the value and taste. T.J. is really not a good comparision to W.F., however, consumers think they are. My preference is W.F. even at a much higher product price and customer service.

Why not raise the pay of all of your hourly workers by $4/hr and thus allow the top to make more as well. Evidently, the money is there.
