Whole Foods and Mothers Day go together perfectly! I love shopping at Whole Foods because it does remind me of the things my mother made with the same natural ingredients she used. The egg salad is my favorite, or is it the potato salad… maybe it is the tuna salad. I guess I can’t decide. My joy on Mothers day is to cook for my family as we share stories of our Mothers and Grandmothers together. We include family recipes made with Whole Foods products. We start with a raised glass to our families of some wine we have never tried from your wine selection. We nibble on your fantastic cheese and olives paired with crackers and fresh crunchy bread. My sister’s specialty is a spinach salad with fresh berries from your produce department and a secret ingredient she won’t tell anyone. (I think I’ll be able to guess it this year!). I get to make the main course which is always hard as your meat, poultry and fish department has such a variety it is hard to decide what to make! My little sister makes steamed veggies and picks up the rolls and bread from your bakery area. We love the variety of candies you offer and have that with some of your great coffee made with the Icelandic water. ( I wish you would sell it in gallon jugs!) The little ones have cookies that the youngest picks out and fills in the little paper bags in your store. Two cookies per bag for each child coming! What a tradition, each asking to look in there bag the minute they walk in door. Whole Foods and Mothers day go hand in hand for us. Sending food to those that are in need would be a fantastic blessing. Thank you Whole Foods for what you do not just on the Holidays but everyday.Your offerings are rich and natural at prices I can afford for my family. Thank you Whole Foods for letting me provide wonderful food for my family as I try to grow into the shoes of my own wonderful Mother! I hope my children will remember my meals as fondly as I remember my Mothers. All thanks to the variety at Wholefoods.

My wife and I were surprised a few days ago with a premature son! Born 30 days early, Henry came in time to make my wife a full-blown mother on this Mother's Day! For her I would buy the world if I could! :) But limiting it to products found in Whole Foods is ok, too. :) FIRST, a plethora of organically grown daisies! (Her favorite flower and the same one I gave to her on the day I asked her to mary me.) Cut or potted it doesn't matter. Regular or Gerber it doesn't matter. What matters is that they are organically grown Whole Foods daisies for my wife! SECOND, for appetizers, she craves the freshly made guacamole at Whole Foods. Just enough flavor and kick! A bag of 365 non-salted white corn tortilla chips to dip with. NEXT, more apps! This time baked brie and bread. She's had to watch which types of cheeses she ate while pregnant--the hardest to give up was brie. And this Mother's Day meal would be the first time she's had brie in over 8 months! FOURTH, her main course, freshly-made sushi from the deli section in Whole Foods. Sushi is another one of her favorite foods that was nixed from her diet during pregnancy. Sashimi, Tempora, California Rolls...all of it because she loves it so much! FINALLY, for dessert, a pint of Ben & Jerry's FroYo Half-baked. I still remembered when she discovered the froyo version of it, she went bonkers! And the only place to carry it is our local Whole Foods. That is how I would celebrate my wife on this very special Mother's Day for us!

My mother is the world to my 4 siblings and me. Recently, she underwent a triple hernia surgery where they also removed an ovary. Since she's having trouble getting around, I'd like to treat her. She is a wonderful cook and she introduced all of us to ethnic cuisine. I'd like to bring her sushi from Genji and make her some Chicken Biryani (?). She LOVES Indian cuisine. The first time we tried sushi, we got a sampler platter. Twenty pieces didn't sound like a lot to us when we ordered it.... :^) I miss my lunches out with my mother.

For everyday value, the following 365 items can't be beat: animal crackers (for my 3 year old AND me); sparkling water; sliced cheese. Also, Pizza specials on Wednesday provide an economical and somewhat healthful way to break up the week with a special treat. For special occasions, your meat department is the best in town! Not only do you have the most diverse selection of types and cuts of meat, the customer service is unparalelled. For example, I was intent on preparing a crown roast of pork on New Years. On one of your busiest days of the year, your butcher prepared the cut by trimming fat, frenching the rib bones, etc. Not a small task; especially on such a bustling day. Needless to say, I was thrilled at the level of service, and my family was impressed with the presentation. Thanks again!

I love ALL of the Seventh Generation products. They are safe enough for my kids to help me clean! Another fave for my cats is 'Dander-Out' by Earth Friendly Products, they look sleek and well groomed afterward! Can't go wrong with anything from Whole Foods! :)

Loved the video...got a lot of new ideas for my next shopping trip to Whole Foods. I think the "funnest" thing about taking my kids to Whole Foods is to let them pick out a picnic with all the ready made items and taking them to the park. I also love to pick up flowers during the week to brighten up the house.

I always stop by WFM before heading to a movie with my son and my mom, we enjoy the yummy fresh made granola from Whole Foods Market and for Mother's Day I think I would treat myself and my mom to some of the the extra sweet smelling soaps and candles so that after the movie we could retreat to our own homes and take relaxing baths and enjoy the homeopathic smells of the great soaps and candles. Sounds like a great mix of food, movie, family and private/relaxation time to me.

Two of my favorite things are cheese and chocolate. So I would have to say your cheese department is one of my favorite spots. I love getting the Brie and some fresh bread from your Bakery, plus while I am there I have to pick up your fresh made chocolate cake (OMG it is to DIE FOR!!!!). Then when I get home, I get some good red wine, sit on the porch in the recliner (we live in Florida), with cheese, bread wine (oh, yea and the calamata olives from your deli)..... and LIFE IS GOOD!!! Follow it up with chocolate cake.......... "Heaven, I'm in heaven............."

I love the wine selection! Our Whole Foods up in DC has the widest variety of local wine choices that make terrific pairings with phenomenal cheese selections. My daughter's boyfriend is French, and I love having a neighborhood locale to use for stocking up on local, organic ingredients for testing new recipes and broadening our palates.

I love so many Whole Foods products - from the everyday to the special occasion products. Earth Balance is fantastic for buttering toast and making cookies, healthy and delicious. I love the 365 Products in every line, from canned beans to pasta to body wash. At a low price and such great quality, you can't go wrong with any of them! I also love all of the bulk foods, from oatmeal to flour to flax seeds, these are all a bargain. People laugh when I tell them I shop at Whole Foods to save money, but I really do.

A perfect Mother’s Day would include a trip to Whole Foods HQ in Austin, a stroll through the many food stations where mom and I would find everything we wanted and desired for a picnic lunch to be had on shores of Lady Bird Lake. Of course, we’d also purchase organiz sunscreen and fun lip balm from the beauty department, 365 sparking flavored water and fresh roasted nuts. We enjoy the quality, freshness and conveniece of the prepared foods as well as the food stations. Wholesome goodness for a fun day with family!

The Whole Experience with Mom and Mandy starts early in the day. I tag-a-long with my Mom even though I'm 31 and she's in her 60's, because then I know that there will be enjoyable food in the cabinets! Armed with a list we end up getting @ least 3 items that we find that we have to try. For example Tom Douglas's Rub with Love Spices, especially the Ancho Molasses BBQ sauce which we put on everything for example Chicken sandwiches. My two other picks are Gala Apples to stay healthy, and Amy's Vegetable Pizza.

For lunch, the food and salad bar is fab! I also am a 'fan' of the seafood dept, there's always a friendly someone behind the case that answers questions succinctly like mercury content. In general, it's a very pleasant shopping experience with helpful and friendly staff (Milwaukee)

By far, the bagels, 18-packs of Horizon single milks and 365 creamy peanut butter are three things that I never leave Whole Foods without! My mother appreciates all of the dairy-free products and the wide array of herbal remedies...she and I could spend hours in there looking at the different ones and choosing which ones from the list she gets from her doctor. Knowing that everything is as fresh as can be sets our minds at ease - and it's all in one convenient location near my apartment!

I frequent the Whole Foods at Farmers Market (3rd Street/Fairfax) in Los Angeles. It's great to start the day with a soy latte from the bakery. The staff is always friendly. Then grab Mom a Naked Juice, maybe some soy yogurt. I love the ready made food, so many choices: Kung Pao Tofu, Sweet and Sour Tofu or couscous with olives and feta cheese. The soy tacos are the bomb from the ready-made foods in the refrigerated section. I love the Whole Foods brand, 365 Everday Value!! The natural sodas in Black Cherry are mind blowing, made with natural sugar cane. I love the cereals and oatmeal from the line too. I love the personal care aisles as well. I stock up on Burt's Bees and Dr. Hauschka. You surely can find a nice gift for Mom in this section. A nice oatmeal soap or a natural ingredient "bronzer" product!! Thank you for making so many lines available that are organic and sodium lauryl sulfate free!!! Then top off Mom's food experience with a mini dessert from the pastry, like a kiwi/mixed berry fruit tart or some soy ice cream, even the cute soy "ice cream" sandwiches, from Tofutti's!! Thank you Whole Foods, I go to your market everyday. If I miss a day, I feel out of the loop!!

My daughter has been a vegetarian for over 9 years. The food that she most wants to eat is marshmallows. It would be so wonderful if you sold "vegetarian marshmallows." Sweet and Sarah make one that is very good, but it's expensive to buy online plus pay postage. This would be a perfect Mother's Day, just making my daughter happy!

Every Sunday I make a stop at Whole Foods to pick up a treat to share with my Grandma during our weekly visit. As summer months approach, I started venturing down the frozen section for some cool and refreshing goodness!! Our favorite is the all natural, watermelon! It tastes just like frozen watermelon on a stick. It is so refreshing, delicious and perfect for our a hot afternoons!

I love Tom's of Maine Propylis and Myrhh Toothpaste. I can't stand the taste of mint and most toothpastes are flavored with mint, but this flavor of Tom's tastes just like black licorice, and I actually look forward to brushing my teeth now. I also love Blue Diamond Almond Milk. I use soy, rice, and hemp milk by competing brands also, but the almond milk is the most-user friendly for me in that it tastes the most like conventional milk. And Santa Cruz Naturals Applesauce with Cinnamon is the best on the planet. If you close your eyes and take a bite, you would SWEAR that it is homemade.

I give a red-carpet four-star rating to Dancing Deer products. Their cookies and cakes have gotten rave reviews from the toughest critics and if they could accept the Whole Foods Oscar, I'm sure they would thank their Mother and so do I. Thanks Mom. Love you, Elaine
