My perfect Mother's Day - would be shopping at one of my favorite Whole Food Markets (LA, Phoenix or New Orleans) So I'll settle for sitting on my deck at the beach reading a good book and enjoying a Whole Food Market quiche, tortilla soup, green or white tea, strawberries and chocolate for dessert.

What don't I like about Whole Foods! From the moment you walk in, it's like an adventure. What do I buy today to spice up my meals. Unfortunately, there is not one Whole Foods near my mom so she enjoys Whole Foods through me. I spoil her with your great selection of fresh produce, your Laughing Giraffe Organics as well as Two Moms in the Raw treats. It's absolutely "RAWsome" to know you have a very nice selection of raw food in your store. Thank you!

I love the Whole Body Department and really love the Pacifica line of products. Their body butter and perfume are amazing and make you feel good every time you use them. I love to give them as a gift along with the matching candle which makes the whole house smell!

I make my mom a basket of my favorite things (things, of course, that I expect she'll love, too!). This year it's Green & Black's dark chocolate, yellowfin tuna salad from the deli, olive rolls from the bakery, fresh berries and flowers from the produce section, and whole-grain avocado-cucumber sushi.

I think my favorite product from Whole Foods would have to be the healthy snack aisle. All the different kinds of chips and crackers, made out of things that are good for my kids, without depriving them of the "snack" foods so many other kids always have. Helps make things a little more "normal", even if it is better for them. Thanks for letting me do that for my kids, I know it shouldn't be important, but to a 3 year old, not being able to have chips when his buddy is chomping down on them IS a big thing. So for me to send some with him that I know are healthy, keeps me happy and keeps him from feeling so different. :D

Allegro fresh roasted coffee ground just before I bring it home. There are no "around the table" discussions which can't be made better just by holding that steaming cup of coffee in my hands. Allegro is the finest!

I enjoy wandering through the fresh fruits and vegetables section when I enter my area's Whole Foods store. Choosing fresh fruits & vegetables to have on hand helps us remember to eat enough servings each day. We've also never been disappointed with fish or meat purchased there, including the pre-marinated and ready-to-cook meats. I'm going to follow Mara's suggestion to use Earth Balance "butter" next time I make chocolate chip cookies. By the way, I have had so much fun reading all the comments! I realized I should go through the store more slowly and thoroughly, as I've been missing some great products. Thank you!

My mother has passed away. But I am close to my neighbor, who is a very good friend. She works part-time and has served on our condo association's board for several years. She is an asset to our community. She is a senior citizen and does not have the resources to shop at Whole Foods regularly. I took her there once and we spent an hour browsing the aisles. She picked out a few items and I "treated" her to them. She was very surprised and appreciative. So if I could do it again, it would be her special day. We could pick up some organic fruit, bread and cheese. Buy some luxurious bath and personal care items. And then top it off with a lovely gift or decorative item. It would be like a day at a spa, only courtesy of Whole Foods.

First off, I always get Mom some flowers! This year I am going to try this recipe for making Jasmine Bath Salts that I found on "wikiHow" (using essential oils from Whole Foods) > http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Jasmine-Bath-Salts Bath Salts Mix * 1 cup baking soda * cup sea salt Scented Mix * 5 drops jasmine absolute essential oil * 5 drops ylang-ylang essential oil * 2 drops rose absolute oil 1. Combine the baking soda and sea salt to make the bath salts mix. 2. Blend the scented mix ingredients together thoroughly. 3. Add to the scented mixture to the bath salts mix and combine gently. 4. Store in an airtight container until use.

There are so many wonderful products at Whole Foods that celebrate moms, women, and family. My dream list would include Burt's Bees products, a lovely bottle of wine, hitting the tea aisle for some chia latte and of course some yummy 365 dark chocolate. Hmmm, can you forward this list to my hubby, please????

If it wasn't for your store my son's diet would not be possible! He is gluten/casein/soy/corn/peanut/egg and garlic free. Thank you for your Gluten Free section!! I also recommend Hemp Bliss Hemp Milk (the only milk my son can drink).

I would be perfectly happy with a vegetarian feast from the produce department- that's my "happy place" in the store! Though I would love to try the organic beef tenderlion, that would be wonderful. My son LOVES the cooked sushi from the deli department. My daughter would want a cake from the bakery counter- that's what she had for her birthday (#7) and as long as it's chocolate with cream cheese icing, I'm good! I would be just as happy with a vegan chocolate chip cookie though :o)

I love everything about Whole Foods! The best produce selection, awesome meat deparment, out of this world bakery and prepared foods. I think when the family asks me what I want for dinner on Mothers Day I'll ask them to take me to Whole Foods and they will say YES because they love it too!

Our Mother's Day tradition includes having my Mom, my Birth-mom, and my Mother-in-law over to grill. It is a great time for us all to be together. My daughter was also born on Mother's Day in 2001 so it is a chance to celebrate her as well. The products that make it Mother's Day every day are the little things like Burt's Bee's lip glosses, the organic chocolates, the flowers, the things that even though you're there to shop for the whole family to benefit everyone's health and well-being, you can pick up one little "extra" to treat yourself. My latest find is the Mocha Cappuccino from Bolthouse Farms. Oh my goodness. It is so rich! Thanks for this opportunity to share some of my favorites.

My Mommy dearest is visiting me from the tropics, so to make her feel at home, I would start Mother's Day making her some chai with raw cow's milk (Organic Pastures). A little mozzarella di bufala to go along with the chai, as she loves buffalo milk. Next up will be tropical organic fruits like pineapples and young coconut water they have in the store here in Los Altos. For desert, i will make a mango lassi out of the Total Greek Yogurt (full-fat of course) and the organic mangoes. Followed by the Turtle Mountain Coconut Milk ice cream, admittedly more for me than for her. Thanks WholeFoods for giving us dizzying options for healthy eating. I get a nice warm feeling when I'm in the store.

My favorite products from Whole Foods are the products that I use to bake my family's favorite breads, cookies and cakes. As a working Mom, I love being able to truly make our house a home by baking reciepes that make the whole house smell wonderful!! My son loves to "wake-up" on the weekend to the intense smell of Whole Foods' Ground Cinnamon used to make apple oatmeal cookies. His smile says it all!!!!!

My mother is no longer alive but I still celebrate her on this special day. We shopped at Plantation and Aventura Whole Foods for years. Our favorite foods were the raspberry wings, the salad bar and blueberry cornbread as a dessert. When she was diagnosed with Diabetes we ran to Whole Foods for supplements and nutritious organic food. I shop there a few days a week and buy the lasagne, salad, cornbread(in honor of her) and my all time favorite 365 Organic Coconut Oil. I also buy the Organic Valley RAW Cheese weekly, along with the beautiful lamb shoulder, grass fed beef. There is one butcher who always obliges me with the mediterranean lamb rub for my lamb. He does not know my name but he definitely knows exactly what section of the lamb I always buy weekly. I love Whole Foods and cannot live without you. No matter where I travel, I locate a Whole Foods and do my grocery shopping before I check into my hotel. Because of Whole Foods I am very healthy and happy. My mom is not here yet when I shop at Whole Foods her spirit is w/me shopping, and ensuring I buy the healthiest items for my body so I can continue living a healthy life and avoid the dreadful Diabetes than runs in my family. Happy Mother's Day Mom and thank you Whole Foods for providing me with quality organic products! THANKSGIVING DINNER MUST COME FROM WHOLE FOODS, also from the turkey I order in advance down to the sweet potatoes w/cranberries,stuffing and pumpkin pie!

Favorite store ever. Thank you for bringing health into my life and my childs and my husbands. You were my saving grace when my daughter was born and now she is healthier than ever. we have a few staples we do not leave without on our weekly shopping trips. 365 Multiseed bread and your pre-cooked chicken makes great recepies and lunches to bring to school. Thank you for helping me be a healthy mom for my family I love shopping and not having to examine every label for all the "yucky stuff" other stores carry. I can leave your store with a basketful and know we are in good hands with only one shopping trip. My little one loves the kids corner too!!

As a teacher in a improverished school district, I wish W hole Foods could supply the school breakfasts and lunches, instead of sugar filled cereals and goldfish. How unnutritious are they? I love the Feed 100 Bags and how purchasing one feeds 100 children.Without proper nutrition, children can and will not learn, never mind live. As

I love to stop at WFM after a choral rehearsal and get a yummy cup of soup, especially if it's seasoned with chipotle pepper. A dollop of Kefir cheese makes it even better. I'm enjoying the 365 brand vitamins more and more. At WFM I have found Dr. Hauschka products...I get lots of compliments on my 60-something skin!

I like the gifts I give to not only make the recipient happy but also to make the world happy. For my mom, the Feed 100 Bag fits the bill perfectly. Its purchase helps to feed hungry children and its use lessens the burden on the environment. With a pink ribbon around it and an Endangered Species Chocolate Bar on top (to help support animals and others), it's a wonderful present!
