I always enjoy shopping with my mom at Whole Foods in Duluth. We take our time studying all the products..We love the whole wheat breads..the fresh sustainable seafood..the grass-fed beef..the natural sodas. Each visit we discover something new. We spend so much time in the whole body department..We buy Dr. Hauschka and 365 products. What we most love is taking a class at Salud Cooking School....We have great mother-daughter moments at Whole Foods....Thank You for that!!!!!

I really love the wide variety of fresh organic produce. I make my own home-made baby food for my 9mo old daughter & the selection available is great. Her favorite is the 365 organic carrots, they are so much more flavorful than name brand baby food. I love knowing that I am offering her the very best I can for her health, growth & development.

I was lucky enough to have a recent trip to Turkey and I wondered how I could share the essence of the wonderful people and food of the country with my friends and family. I found the perfect solution when I walked into Whole Foods and found the bins of dried Turkish figs and Turkish apricots, just like in the Spice Market in Istanbul. For me, these are better than chocolate! For Mother's Day, I can share the wonders and relaxation of Turkey with my Mom and Mom-in-law. We'll sit down with a cup of Oregon Chai tea (the Turks love black tea), made skinny with skim milk, and a special treat of Whole Foods figs and apricots. M-m-m-m-m-m. I can't think of a more perfect treat for a special day.

Mara mentioned a few of my favorites like FLOWERS. I absolutely adore having flowers in my home. They make me happy every time I look at them. That's all I need for Mother's Day...along with some of your dark chocolate. For any day for that matter. Moving on to the cheese section; I love the parmesan reggagio for all my italian foods. My younger daughter and I have recently discovered your Liberte Mediterranee plum and walnut yogurt...delicious! A healthy munchee is the Nana' Cocina tortilla strips with no artificial ingredients and your whole foods salsa fresca; nothing but fresh vegies and spices; no preservatives. My older daughter is having our first grandbaby very soon and I have been having fun buying Peter Rabbit Organics products and wooden teething rings and toys from your baby section. I better stop now but I think you can see that I love Whole Foods!!!

I enjoy Whole Foods fresh flowers all year round. I buy them for my friends celebrating birthdays and holidays. Whole Foods flowers last longer than other places I have purchased in the past. I don't go anywhere else for flowers.

Where does one begin to extol the virtues of Whole Foods? I love the Pizza and the Broiled Chicken! The Bakery section takes my breath away! And talk about variety in cheeses and breads! I also love the variety of beers and wines, some you cannot find elsewhere. I always buy the Whole Foods Pico de Gallo (sp?). For my dogs, I buy the Green Supplements. Whole Foods, you rock!

Your store has made my burger and fries loving family love vegetables! Apparently the problem was that they hadn't tasted fresh, crisp, clean ones before I introduced everyone to your salad bar and produce section. I went to the SOMA san francisco store last night to purchase the following products: Seventh Generation paper towels Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent SNAP PEA SPRING CLEANING KIT from Mrs Meyers And I'm heading over to her house on mothers day to clean it from top to bottom. She has alot of back problems, so she can't keep her house as clean as she'd like to. I figure I may also pop in to get brunch ingredients as well :)

I'm buying my Mom potted orchids. We saw them together and she was in awe of their beauty (as was I). The price is great at $19.99 and they will potentially last for years. Even though she has many plants in her home these will be the show stoppers. Hopefully every time she looks at them she will remember how she is loved. After further research, I found these are the easiest orchids to grow and require water only every 10-15 days. So even though she is now happily traveling in her new retirement, these will still be beautiful every time she comes home. (Imight just get one for myself too). Thanks, Whole Foods

I think my mom would actually love to eat in the food court section. She would love to make her own salad with the endless options of veggies! She would love to get some sushi, miso soup from the Japanese sushi bar section, and finally she would love to get a big piece of the strawberry shortcake from the dessert section! Happy Mother's Day Mom! I Love You!, J
