I work very early in the morning and my daughter is in college and I start my day with a smoothie . The smoothie starts with your organic almond milk( my personal fav) and several of the superfood powders from Sunfoods ( Maca, Lucuma, raw cacao powder, Hemp protein etc ) and add a little raw honey and stevia a few frozen banana pieces and some raw almond butter from your store! So incredibly yummy, satisfying and nutritious! Thanks Whole Foods! My daughter stopped at your store in Carmel Indiana on the way back to school to shop! She is addicted as I am :-)

I have a great little serving dish with three compartments; I fill two with two different veggies (baby cut carrots, cucumber slices, celery sticks, jicama strips, etc.) and the last with organic pretzel sticks. My boys always eat every last morsel! I'm looking forward to the day when they'll start eating some hummus; they just aren't on that bandwagon with me yet. :)

I make my famous pancakes for a snack that can be eaten alone without syrup, on the go and is great with fruit. I substitute milk with Very Vanilla Soymilk that makes it extra fluffy and flavored. Sometimes I add organic pumpkin to the batter for pumpkin pancakes. Or I add frozen fruit or sometimes just maple or almond extract to add different flavors. Its a pancake several ways!

Walking home from the busstop with hunger pangs burning the pits of their stomachs, my kids love to snack. So, keeping quick healthy foods in stock in the fridge and pantry is a must. I always have organic peanut butter and fuji and gala apples handy -- a popular pairing -- and stock up on homemade hummus with black beans and ready-to-eat carrots.

We love the 365 sunflower seeds. I buy a bag of salted and non-salted and mix them together. They are great for pre-school, because it is NUT free, but seeds are okay!

To get a balanced snack: organic dried mango slices, roasted almonds with dates, then get some green energy from toasted seaweeds! Light weight, nothing that can leak on your kids, and no cooling needed:-)
