My dad will tell you that “Real men don’t eat dessert” but put a slice of Red Velvet Cake in front of him and he turns into a boy. My dad lives 1200 miles from me, but I made his day 10 years ago when I bought the house next door to him. Now, my husband & I spend our winters in Florida with my dad. I have learned over the years there is one thing my dad looks forward to more than anything when I come to visit-- Whole Foods Red Velvet Cake. Red Velvet is his favorite cake, and while it is hard to find during the year, I can usually have it specially made for his birthday in March. I am going to surprise him this year for Fathers Day and fly down to see him. I‘m going to ring his doorbell with ,that very special Red Velvet Cake in hand. I know my dad appreciates the extra special things I do for him, especially this cake. I don’t mind spending extra time or money to get this cake for him because Whole Foods makes the cake with superior ingredients. Only the best for my dad!

I want my dad to learn how to cook basics. I'd find some easy, but NOT high-waste things that could be made into simple recipes for him. He should've learned cooking decades ago, but now I hate the idea of him eating so much processed food!

Our son says "chocolate cake!" My husband loves the vegan chocolate cake from Whole Foods bakery. Plus, it would be a splurge to get some picnic items from the prepared foods area, and maybe pick up an Amy's frozen pizza for later in the day. Daddio is a fan of the Amy's Roasted Veggie pizza. Happy Father's Day!

Some of my hubby's favorite items from Whole Foods are the artisan cheeses in the cheese section, along with those "everything" crackers, a bottle of wine or ale, pistachio nuts, and La Farm bread. I'm planning on shopping there to fix him an extra-special dinner for Father's Day :)

There are too many things at Whole Foods that would make my husband happy on Father's Day to list in this small space, but I'll list just a few of his ultimate favorites: Sam Adams, Yeungling, Woodchuck Cider, Bon Terra Merlot-Pinot Noir, Snoqualmie Riesling, 365 Penasol Sangria, Newman-O's cookies, anything on the Comfort Food Bar, Chili with cornbread, Sweet Onion hamburgers, Santa Fe Chicken Kabobs, two bite brownies, meringue cookies and last but not least...................................................................................................365 Organic Beef Jerky!!! Happy Father's Day Everyone!

My dad had to retire this past year and is at home on oxygen 24 hours a day. He has been helping pay for my wedding in August and I would love to pay him back by being able to introduce him to Whole Foods. The Dr has told him he needs to lose weight and eat healthier and what better place to give him a good start than taking a nice walk through the aisles finding much healthier alternatives to his usual diet.

I'd love to win this gift card for my son to create a special treat for his father. This father's day will be a very special one for both my son and his father. My son just had his 13th birthday on April 9 and on MAY 8, 2009 he got to meet his father for the first time. They instantly bonded!! We live on a very tight budget and I'd love for my son to be able to treat his father on their first Father's Day together.

Our kids love to celebrate Father's Day as it is a way to say thank you for all the ways their Dad serves them every day. He is teaching them how to sweep the kitchen every evening, wipe off the kitchen counters, keep their rooms organized, make exercise a daily part of their life, honor and respect their mom. Whole Foods hold many favorites for him -- fresh brick oven pizza, corn/onion salad, protein powder for after the work out. We would love to honor him with a barbeque dinner with all the fixings!

Dad and I are both currently unemployed. Most of his favorite food and all most all of his favorite treats come from Whole Foods. It would be really fun to be able to send him a care package full of his favorite goodies!

If I had that 100 dollar Whole Foods gift card, my father would be extremely happy. He has been wanting to try all those IPA's. If he had that gift card, he would then be able to pursue that by buying a lot of them. That would make him happy. Please let me win that gift card, for you will be doing a good deed.

My husband will be celebrating his first father's day this year and absolutely LOVES Virgil's root beer! Every time we are at Whole Foods, several bottles "sneak" their way into our basket!

Father's Day this year for us is extra special - We just had our first child! Even though it's a wonderful thing it's also very hard. I am currently staying at home so the income has been cut and we aren't able to spare any for a father's day gift. This gift card to him would be the greatest thing to happen. Thanks and Happy Father's Day to all!

My dad has been on a diet for the past year, so i'd love for him to pick out (or pig out on) all of the foods he loves and we'll have a great BBQ on the day with all of his favorites that he deserves to treat himself with.

My husband hates to shop. He doesn't like crowds, browsing the aisles, he just wants in and out. Unless he's at Whole Foods. He'll spend all day there. And he'll find things in the aisles and get really creative (sometimes too much so) when cooking dinner that night. He can't do that right now, but it is is great when he can. We're both out of work. He was laid off a month ago, myself in March. That gift card would really help us out, because we are out of options right now. And it would be a great morale booster for us, letting us do something we've been taking for granted the last few years.
