Brown Bird is one of my very favorite groups! I love their songs such as By The Reins, Danger and Dread and many others! I love Bluegrass and the Folk musics. I have many favorites as far as artists that are big in the public eye but I don't think you're talking about that. I could be wrong.

I have so many favorites it would be hard to pick just one but Ari Hest would have to top the list. Catch him at Jammin' Java in Vienna during his next visit to the D.C. Metro area.

I listen to classical, choral, jazz and folk. Really enjoy learning about new music - songwriters and their own tunes. btw --- anyway the cafe at the Roch. Hills store can purchase new bar stools that fit under the tables so one can sit comfortably? Great cafe! Love to eat a healthy bite and end with an awesome gelato! XOXOx0x0xooooooxx

Ooooo...too many to chose from....I've been involved with music since the 60's and still thrill to the great number of artists continuing to pursue acoustic, folk, and world music. From Woody G and Pete S. all the way to local favorites such as Peter Ostruschko, Billy McLauglin and Glen Helgeson/friends. Also, don't forget the great contribution contemporary native Americans are making to music today. They all brighten my world!
