I can't recall the album, but Paul Simon singing 'You Can Call Me Al' seemed to combine 2 separate musical styles.

I saw Rodrigo y Gabrelia at Global Union in Milwaukee and loved them. They play their guitars really well, they do their own music and cover songs well. They mix the guitar with rock and spanish styles.

I just came back from Kenya and really enjoyed the music for all over the continent of Africa. Franco, Habib Koite, etc.... all are fantastic. I picked up some Maasai music while at the mara..... Makes me feel like I am back at a game drive.
