Traveling on vacation this summer? We want to go with you! Or maybe just find us when you get there. Many of our stores are just a hop, skip or a subway/tube/bus stop from many of your favorite summer destinations. Over the summer, we’ll be featuring stores near destinations around the U.S., U.K. and Canada that are conveniently located near vacation destinations like historical landmarks, beaches, artsy and adventurous escapades, festivals and more! Whether it’s the warm sun hitting you on the suspenseful peak of a roller coaster ride, the giant splash from a playful killer whale, the exhilaration of defying gravity, or spending a few hours in the home of “The King,” these vacation thrills just scream summer fun! School’s out so it’s time for kids and kids at heart to take on the nation’s theme and amusement parks. While screaming on roller coasters, marveling at safari or marine life and splashing around in water parks might be a big part of your summer vacation experience, it’s always great to know that one of our stores is nearby when you need to pick up some snacks ahead of time or just recharge and restock after a great day of adventure. Ready to roll? Here are some stores in cities that hold amusement parks and attractions for the thrill-seeker in all of us. Be sure to check out our store list to see how close we are to your adventure destinations. MEMPHIS Our Poplar store resides in East Memphis, serving shoppers from West Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi. In addition, the store has lots of local offerings from vegan cakes to gourmet pizzas and everything in between! Best of all, you’re sure to be greeted with good old-fashioned southern hospitality. DO you have one near Slippery Rock, PA? We are going to be attending the Pennsic war, put on by the Society for Creative Anachronism. We recreated pre 16th centry Europe, there will be over 15000 hungry people who cook in their campsites!

One of the first things I do after booking our travel arrangements is check to see where the WF store is located. We usually book rooms that have kitchenettes and stock up on WF items to eat well and stay within our food budget while traveling.

I live in South Point OH, originally from MA and I love Whole Foods, but the nearest one to me is about 1.5 to 2 hrs away. You might look into opening one in Huntington WV; Marshall Univ is here and a lot of people around here are trying to go healthy, but we only have this little area of the local Kroger's.
