My little fruitarian shelter cat has a real sweet tooth...he absolutely loves cranberries, blueberries, oranges, and especially mango. When we pull the raspberry homemade jam out of the fridge he starts meowing for a little taste of jam. As for meat he is very finicky and only accepts salmon, duck or venison on his plate.

My cat, Deuce, loves to nibble on organic wheat grass (I call it "candy" when I bring it home from the store and he comes running!) and he goes absolutely bonkers for beef jerky.

Our dog, Mojo, loves cheese! When she needs medicine, we wrap the pills in cheese. She loves it so much, we can't say the word "cheese" without her running!

My dogs, Emma and Ernie, LOVE the 365 brand creamy peanut butter, mello mutts, and of course, airchilled chicken (I cook it for them). They might be a little spoiled :-)

My 2 dogs love to eat green beans, carrots, apples and cheese for treats. They also love my husband's pork rinds (which are probably not good 4 them!)

My chihuahua Chika was just diagnosed with a bulging disc. She is also over weight mainly because I was loving her too much giving her "cookies". I have been in search of healthy low calorie treats for her. Winning this contest will help her on her way to a healty weight and better health. Thanks, Debbie

Bella is a 14 year old Cairn Terrier who was just recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. Her appetite isn't what it used to be, but the old girl still comes running when we open any kind of CHEESE! Be it american, swiss or cream cheese, any kind will do. We now put her meds in cubes of cream cheese and she happily takes them with no problem!

Cayanne, my 10 1/2 yr. old rescue dog (mixed breed) LOVES belly scratches......oh, and raw carrots. I'm never without a bag in the fridge. She's also a BIG fan of the Dogswell Mellow Mut lavender chicken breast. Thanks for this blog. It's a great way to hear about other dog treat ideas.

My one year old miniature Australian shepherd loves pears off our tree. I think that after all of our pears have dropped, I will continue to purchase him a weekly pear for him to chew on.

Max loves the Castor & Pollux Organix chicken treats. We love that they're organic and very healthy! He also loves the Castor & Pollux doggie bones, especially the yummy stuff that fills the bone! As for other treats, he loves anything. He always begs for food, so we give him our fruits and veggies. He likes tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, bananas, apples, and everything else in our kitchen that's safe for him to eat! :)

My cat absolutely loves taco meat! (Mine is fully drained cooked sirloin with my own salt-free spice mix.) When she smells it, she scowls with her smooshed-up bear face and stares until I give her a spoonfull. haha

I made homemade bacon biscuits for my two labs. They absolutely love them! I also make them doggie meatloaf for dinner sometimes - I think they enjoy that so much they think it's a treat.

My cat Sam, LOVES yogurt!! He is 8 years old, and waits patiently to get a spoonful of yogurt, or milk or anything with yogurt or milk IN IT! There has been 2 times when he got very sick (all fine now) and yogurt was the only thing that kept him alive when he would not eat his food. I would give him yogurt or milk every couple of hours. I also put a probiotic in his morning food and he LOVES IT!!

My dogs turn into the devil...seriously...they GROWL and turn ferocious if I try to take these bones from them. All other times they are sweet and non-food aggressive. They also like deer antlers, a non-cruel treat for them. We love you Whole Foods! ;)

Scruffy's ( my Benji-look-alike-rescue pup) favorite treat is 365 peanut butter! He loves it frozen and it takes him longer to eat it on his chew bone. He also loves to eat the pulp out of an orange, scraping it so clean there is not an ounce of orange left on the rind! As for unhealthy treats, he is a sucker for ice cream, any flavor will do....he takes after his mom on that one... : )
