Our favorite way to enjoy the arrival of fresh sour cherries is an elegant Cherry Clafouti. So simple and easy. Great for breakfast! In a blender - 1 cup milk, 3 eggs, 1 tablespoon vanilla, 3 tablespoons sugar, 5 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Blend 60 seconds. In a cake pan melt 1 tablespoon butter on the cook top. Pour 1/4 inch of batter in butter, cook over low heat til bubbly. Remove from heat. Cover the pan with fresh pitted cherries. Pour on remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees one hour.
