Boiled peanuts, preferably the cajun ones! So delicious and salty which then requires a cold beverage to wash it all down.

For the beach, I like dried fruits and plenty nuts(cashews, peanuts, pecans), fresh fruits, plenty of ice cold water, iced tea and cold lemonade. For lunch, sandwiches, veggies, and chips.

Lots of water, seasonal fruit (watermelon, cantelope, blueberries) and maybe a bag of good chips to snack on. Also good icecream if you are at the pool and have access to a freezer.

Summer is meant for fun, relaxation, family time (beach, biking, hiking). The best is the veggies and fruit that are in season. Grillin' veggies for dinner and fruit for dessert... who could ask for anything more!

Fresh chilled fruit (melon, berries, grapes); an well-selected assortment of cheeses; fresh-baked baguette; dark chocolate; sparkling mineral water; and a bottle or two of a light summer-time wine - probably sparkling or frizzante (Cava, Prosecco, Vinho Verde, Brachetto...) OK, when can we go?? I'm ready to hit the beach now!!! :)
