Fresh fruit skewers are a must and get gobbled up! We love trail mix and the kids love Pirates Booty...assorted sandwiches and lots of water!! (white wine sangria and beer for the big kids :)

my favorite food to the beach are nuts for energy, granola for great snack, watermelon to rehydrate, something sweet to make me happy :) and a nice big sandwich made at home because after swimming u are really hungry.

I love the water. Any water will do - gulf, lake, river, ocean, etc! I like to have healthy munchy foods like granola bars, Kettle Brand Baked potato chips, Tortilla chips & fresh salsa. I also bring plenty of water & sunblock. Nothing like relaxing at the beach!

My own version of trail mix..Dehydrated fruit, cashews, chocolat covered almonds, cheerios, m&m's, granola, seeds, and pretzels. Water, watermelon, cheese, crackers, grapes, and apples. Sweet, salty, and wet......I can almost smell the ocean.

My favorite foods to bring to the beach are a peanut butter sandwich with strawberry jam, along with cantaloupe and a fruit strip. To quench my thirst I enjoy mango-pineapple juice.

For an outing to the beach, my family enjoy bringing homemade pasta salads (organic, of course). Of snacks, toasted nuts and fruit leathers are favorites. Sweet tea and water are also a must. Oh, there are always a thermos of cold milk and a zip-lock bag of cinnamon oatmeal cookies.

While visiting the shore with my family of six, I love to pack a bag filled with yummies. I include foods that come in their own packaging in order to keep sand off the food. Items such as bananas, frozen yogurt on the go packs, granola bars and water. This way the kids hands stay clean and there is no sand transferred to the food.

I love going to the beach, but I rarely get the chance, so when I finally get to go I never want to leave. I take plenty of sunscreen, water, and fresh fruit and veggies to stay hydrated and safe while enjoying the sun.
