Organic grapes are so refreshing when playing on the beach. When we were in Hawaii, my 2 year old was never without a bag nearby!

Summertime in my family is by the pool or in the beach! We usually love snacking on fresh watermelon wedges and trailmix while we are jumping in and out of the water! :)

I love Whole Foods Chicken Curry Salad from the deli. Completely addicting. Add some grapes, chips, cold tea, and sunshine and it is a perfect day.

My first thing to take to the beach is lots of water. My kids love to drink lemonade, we make it with fresh lemons at home. We also take peanuts, tropical fruits like orange, watermelon and guava. And something sweet like chocolate or granola bars.

My favorite beach snacks are most definitely fruit salad, chocolate chips cookies, ice cold water and if there is a grill afoot you gotta have some chicken sausages on a nice soft bun.

I like to bring something easy to eat to the beach that will hold up in the heat - Larabars. I also like to have something refreshing, like a cooler filled with lots of water.

On a trip to the beach I'd take fruits (grapes, cantaloupe), banana chips, and a lettuce, tomatoe, and turkey sandwich.

I love to bring a cooler with ice so that I can pack up one of my homemade raw kefir smoothies! I use homemade kefir, bananas, organic strawberries, organic blueberries, local raw honey, goji berries, and a dash of flaxseed oil! It keeps my kids and me going for hours and is packed with antioxidants! For an extra treat - and for the hubby, there's also sandwiches and watermelon. Mmm.. :)

I'm a simple gal! All I need is a big ol' beach towel, sunblock, sunglasses and water...and a radio...and a beach umbrella in case the sun is too intense...and a floatation thingy to put my car keys in...and a book...and a beach chair in case I find it more comfortable to read my book while sitting...maybe a radio or ipod...and that's it...maybe a frisbee if I go with friends...and sandals, gotta have sandals...
