My beach food staples are water (have to stay hydrated!), snack bars, and crackers. Anything easy to eat that wont melt in the sun!

Gotta take a good craft or summer brew. I recommend Shiner's seasonal with ginger and grapefruit or Stone Cali-Belgique.

I've always been a fan of fruit salad. And plenty of water of course. A bottle of wine doesn't hurt either.

I have the beach to my west and lakes to my east, so I love both! Summer by the water always requires fresh, cold fruit especially watermelon, grapes, white nectarines, and strawberries. If the grill is fired up, zucchini and summer squash is a must along with sausages and burgers.

I love taking healthy snacks that won't melt or get too sandy. For example: apple slices with toothpicks & caramel dip, granola bars, pudding packs, or veggies with a dip!

Good question! Looking back at all my trips to the beach, I have always brought a sandwich, a small thing of deli pasta such as pesto tortellini, chips, a Vitamin Water or sparkling water, & some kind of sweets (berries, candy bar, etc...) to finish off the meal or just to snack on. I absolutely love BBQing on the beach, too! Chicken, hamburgers, just about anything goes for me on a summer day at a beautiful body of water! :)

I love to go to the beach to kayak, fish, and swim. I take organic juices and fruit in the kayak. Trail mix is another item that I often bring with me as well.

Favorite beach foods...I'd have to say foods with their own package...fruits like apples, oranges and bananas...actually we love any fruit on the beach - berries, watermelon. Our picnic basket usually includes premade sandwiches (favs are turkey & cheese w/ salad (lettuce) for my 5 year old and veggie hummus wraps for me and the 7 year old) Mmmm...is it time for vacation yet?!?!?
