My kids love the Kashi brand TLC soft-baked cereal bars. They're so easy to pack! For my husband and I....bagel chips, nuts, and chilled white wine keep us happy.

My favorite foods to take to the beach are watermelon & sandwiches. Whenever we go, we always stop off @ a local whole foods store so we each can have our sandwiches made to our liking; grab some watermelon, cherries, & any other fruit & snacks we see that grab our tastebuds. What great memories of the whole day :)

When we go to the beach we go early and stay late so I pack a large cooler filled with grilled chicken, pasta salad, tossed green salad, cut up watermelon and vegies like carrots and celery sticks to munch on. I add in some granola bars and yogurts for snacks! I bring tons of water and juice to hydrate with!

What we take to the beach, hmmmmm.... well when we do have the pleasure of going, we bring whatever is in the cabinets or refrigerator. So we would definitely bring those delicious goodies. I would definitely love to have those cute portable containers and I also love the yummy gummies. That would be a nice long beach day for us because we wouldn't run out of food like we normally do.

The foods I take to the beach are generally somewhat shelf stable and usually taste either cool or citrusy. I usually take a small cooler for vegetarian sandwiches, pasta salads, etc.

Coconut Water!! Preferable a fresh young coconut, but O.N.E. is pretty great too. Also, baby watermelons, since they make for great swimming caps.

Growing up, we always had P&J and turkey "sand"wiches at the beach along with lots of fruit, lemonade and water. There's nothing else like enjoying a sandy snack after lots of body surfing and shell finding!

For some reason, plums are a food I associate with a day at the beach. When I was little, they were always in the cooler for our beach days while on vacation. I think they were a good choice by my mom bc they were small enough for little hands and SO sweet. To rinse of the juice, all you had to do was go in the ocean.:)
