My favorite food items to take to the beach are fresh fruit and veggies and of course a ton of water. Also love having some pita chips or pretzels for the salty craving.

Anything that sand will not stick to :o) Cold melon in a cooler, sandwiches, special-treat snacks like chips, cheese twists. Lots and lots of cold beverages - being in the saltwater always makes me thirsty.

Watermelon, and more watermelon! Also summer fruits like peaches, plums and nectarines. PBJ for the kids, and ham/swiss on a nice artisanal bread for the adults. Homemade lemonade w/vodka on the side for the drinkers.

We ( my husband, myself and our 3 children) have decided to rent an RV and drive it from Phoenix to Jackson Hole, WY and the to Yellowstone. It's a trip we will remember forever. I can't help but think of the Robin Williams RV movie. Lol

Great timing. My family and I are gearing up for our 9th Annual 4th of July bash at the beach! We have it all covered! Chicken, burgers, crab, but for snack we take a lot of fresh fruit and homebaked breads. And indulge in the S'mores of course...with Peanutbutter cups.
