Crackers, a variety of cheeses including blue cheese, prosciutto, olives drizzled with olive oil and garlic, almonds, cashews, peanuts, home-made brushetta on toasted French bread and some fun drinks like a Pina colada, strawberry daiquiri or a lemonade with cilantro. It's always great to have a variety of things!

I always appreciate parties that go beyond offering chips and pretzels. My favorite party foods are cucumber finger sandwiches and different kinds of cheeses. Why waste a food opportunity when having a party! Yum.

My two faves are: Watermelon Salsa, with black beans and corn -so fresh and tangy it's perfect for summer dipping; and mexican white queso crema cut in squares, doused with olive oil and oregano and placed in the oven to melt just slightly. Serve with chunks of french bread and it will melt in your mouth!

I don't have a go-to party food, it really depends on the weather, who's invited, and my mood, but i do always love a nice olive tapenade. mmm:)
grilled peaches are also delicious, if you're already firing up the grill!!

Guacamole is a must at my party. We also like to have fresh pico, some grilled squash,chicken,onion, and bell pepper shish kabobs.

Summer time means fruit!! One of my favorite apps is a watermelon skewer complete with basil leaves, feta and a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette! Don't forget to put a watermelon cube at the bottom so your skewers stand straight up (: little towers of deliciousness!

A variety of quality snacks is key. Don't over do it and make sure to spread them around the space so that people can get to what you are offering rather than crowding around that single bowl of nuts. Always have one wow factor item. It is best if you have actual made this one yourself for the bragging rights of course.

For a hot dish I like rumaki. For a cold dish I like tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, for a room temp dish I like pretzels with either a mustard or ranch sauce.

For a dinner party it is green beans sauted with garlic and sliced. almonds. For an outdoor BBQ I Rely on my favorite SpinacH diP with pita chips always a favorate
