I rejoice that in a short 20 years S. Africa has gone from being banned from international sports competition to hosting one of the Family of Nation's very biggest events. Hooray! And maybe Team USA will stay in for a couple of rounds? And Putumayo Africa - what a way to celebrate!

We have two of the other Putumayo's CDs and the whole family enjoys them. I like how they are joyful and lighthearted. We are big European football fans with season tickets to our local Seattle Sounders, so will of course be watching the World Cup. We are enjoying watching the matches from the comfort of our big screen tv at home. Popcorn and lots of beverages help with all the cheering and shouting (my husband) will be doing. Go Team USA!

Not only are the South African CDs terrific, (just heard them for the 1st time here) but so are their other collections. I have several including the Carribbean series and would recommend all of them to everyone.

Thank you for the beautiful music download, and the information here is educational. I first saw Putumayo World Music CDs in the library, I was immediately attracted by the artwork, and I love Africa Music. I love “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, I did not know its Africa root until now. I also would recommend the sound track of the movie “The Constant Gardener”, original music composed by Alberto Iglesias. The movie was filmed in Africa. The music fits African landscape beautifully. I don't follow Scoccer as I did when I was younger, but Congratulations to Africa for the World Cup! Thank you Wholefoods, for sharing the world music and international themes in the community and in your stores. I would love to win the CDs.

This was my first chance to hear their music. Very nice. I would love to win a cd and will check out their music in the future. Any games on the tv that bring together world teams is so good for all of us.

We look forward to the World Cup with as much anticipation as the Olympics. We will be tuned in to each play for the full 90 minutes and after it is over we will feast, listen to music and enjoy our hopeful victory.

What wonderful African music to represent the World Cup this year! And even better that purchasing this cd benefits Artist for a New South Africa! My father has visited South Africa recently and absolultely LOVED it. Maybe someday I will have the chance to travel to South Africa as well to enjoy the rich culture, diversity, and music up close and in person!

I'm not a soccer fan per se, although my grandsons are both players, and I cheer for them and their teams! However, I do enjoy the excitement I see emanating from the fans at the World Cup. It's invigorating to see so many people cheering and celebrating. This World Cup may just make me a World Cup soccer tournament "enjoyer"

Love the Putumayo CDs. We have a few, mostly the children's collections, but I play them all the time even when my kids aren't present! Yes, I would love to win the collection!

Wonderful music that moves you even though you don't understand the language. Of course music is the universal language...but this really sings to me.

The sights and sounds of the World Cup host country contribute so much to the Beautiful Game. We will be celebrating with our seven year old by learning cool things about as many of the participating countries as we can. Music is definitely a big part of that. This song will be a great part of the fun.
