Sweepstakes begins September 24, 2008 at 12:01AM Central Time (CT) and ends October 8, 2008 at 11:59PM CT.
HOW TO ENTER
Help us choose our budget recipe challenge winners and you will have a chance to win a $500 Whole Foods Market gift card (or other First Prizes)! Visit www.wholefoodsmarket.com and log in to the website. (If you are not currently registered for the website, you will need to complete the website registration and then log in.) Once logged in to the website, review the five Budget Recipe Challenge recipes and post a comment on your favorite recipe or recipes. You must post at least one comment on at least one recipe to receive an entry into the sweepstakes. You may post as many comments as you like, but you will only be entered into the sweepstakes once.
ELIGIBILITY
Participation is limited to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec), and are at least 18 years of age as of the start date of the promotion. Officers and employees of Whole Foods Market, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and the immediate family members of the foregoing, are not eligible to win.
PRIZE
There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner, who will receive a $500 Whole Foods Market Gift Card. There will be ten (10) First Prize Winners who will each receive a $25 Whole Foods Market Gift Card. Total Retail Value of all prizes is $750. No substitution or transfer of this prize will be permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes on prize, if applicable. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE DRAWING
Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received, on or about October 15, 2008 by an independent sweepstakes agency (ISA). The decision of the ISA is final. Potential winner will be notified by email within approximately 7 days of the drawing date.
Canadian Entrants
If the Potential winner is a Canadian Resident, he/she will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question before being declared the winner.
SWEEPSTAKES TERMS & CONDITIONS
Grand Prize Winner will be required to sign and return an executed Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 10 days of receipt of notification, or the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner selected. Winner agrees that the Sponsor, their affiliates, the ISA, and their agencies and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen prize verification materials or prizes. Winner consents to the use of their name, photo, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes for no additional compensation (except residents of TN). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All materials submitted become the sole property of the Sponsor. By entering, entrant gives Sponsor the rights to utilize submitted comments and entrant names in Sponsor's future marketing and promotional efforts without any further compensation or release. Sponsor may reserve the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes or disqualify one or more entrants if fraud, misconduct, typographical or other production error or technical failures destroy the integrity of the sweepstakes as determined solely by the Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost/unavailable network connections, or failed/incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission, which may limit a user's ability to participate. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted on the Sponsor's website, and a random drawing held from among all eligible entries received prior to the time of termination. Any attempt by an individual to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent of the law. By accepting the prize offered, winner agrees to release Whole Foods Market, its subsidiaries, divisions, and affiliates and each of their respective employees, officers, directors and agents, including, without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize, or participation in the promotion.
