Golden Temple of Oregon LLC Announces Expanded Nationwide Voluntary Recall of WHA GURU CHEW Peanut Cashew Bars Due To Possible Health Risk

Golden Temple of Oregon LLC is initiating an expanded voluntary recall of WHA GURU CHEW Peanut Cashew bars (1.13oz.), because they have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. This voluntary recall is in response to the expanded recall involving all peanut products produced by the Plainview Peanut Corporation of Texas, a subsidiary of Peanut Corporation of America located in Blakely, GA facility.

Description: 1.13oz. (32g) individually plastic wrapped confectionary bars. The bars are packed 24 to a display box and 6 display boxes to a master shipper. The shipper and display boxes are lot coded. The individual bars are not lot coded. The UPC Code is 7507000101. Golden Temple is not aware of any reported cases of illness related to this product and has issued this voluntary recall strictly as a precautionary measure. Golden Temple takes the safety of its customers seriously and is working with the FDA on this recall.
