Lake Champlain Chocolates Recalls Products Containing Pistachios

Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC) is issuing a voluntary product recall for their products containing pistachios, because of potential contamination with Salmonella.

The products being recalled are:

Lake Champlain Triple Nut Chocolate Bar 3 oz 76993300553 08275, 08294, 08295, 08354, 09026, 09027, 09063 (lot code located in the colored purple box under the UPC)
Lake Champlain Triple Nut Chocolate Square .4 oz 76993302314 08302, 08310, 08337, 09063, 09083 (lot code located on back label of dispenser in lower left corner)
Lake Champlain Chocolate Journeys 4 oz 76993302310 08288, 08287, 08301, 08309, 08326, 09009, 09029, 09035 (lot code located in the red brown square under UPC

The Company is voluntarily taking this precautionary measure after their supplier, Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc, reported that a small amount of roasted shelled pistachios recently tested positive for Salmonella.  No illnesses have been reported in conjunction with this recall. Lake Champlain Chocolates has informed the FDA of its actions and is fully cooperating with the Agency.
