Whole Kids Storytime

This year we'll bring the Whole Kids Foundation Book Club to life with stories about food, farming & healthy eating, followed by a healthy snack, and suggestions for continuing the conversation at home. Dino Cupcake Decorating

Learn how to decorate cupcakes with dinosaurs, our back-to-school buddies! This hands-on class is great for kids of all ages -- please RSVP as space is limited! Reserve your spot here:

First Tastes: The Adventures of Baby Food Making

A whole “new” way to nourish and provide for your baby - make your own baby food!  Travel back to your grandma’s days by preparing your baby’s meals in the safety of your own kitchen. Save money while providing your baby with fresh, wholesome food. Join Tara Verma of Yummy Sprout for the basics of how to make, store and serve your little ones their first foods. Information on the best fruits and vegetables for your little ones and sample recipes will be provided. Attendees will have time to share tips, ask questions and taste test some yummy creations as well.

Kids Club: Garden Planting

Join us to kick off our Whole Kids Foundation (WKF) fundraising campaign by planting a garden! Kids ages 3-12 will plant Yaya carrots and watch them grown in our store! Donation of $5 to WKF to participate.

Button Bonanza for the Whole Kids Foundation

Ever wanted to design your own button, to proudly showcase your artwork, a favorite photo or your motto for the day?  Here's your chance:  Join the Button Bonanza at Whole Foods Market Frisco, crafting fun for a good cause.  We'll supply the materials and know-how to make your own button--you make a donation to benefit the Whole Kids Foundation, which provides grants to further healthy eating education for kids and teachers in K-12 schools.  Fun and philanthropy....what could be better?  (Minimum $2 donation required.)

Petite Chefs: A Family Meal

A love of good, healthy and fun food starts young, help the petite chefs in your house learn to express their creativity through food. Tara Verma of Yummy Sprout will teach children to make a fabulous three-course meal. This is a hands on and interactive class. Attendees will leave with a kid-friendly packet of recipes and a MEAL to share with their family. Parents are encouraged to participate or watch. Ages 5-12

You & Me Dino Bites for Back to School

Looking for something fun to do with your little ones? This week your little ones will whip up a fun lunch box creation for the back to school season! Online Registration is required and space is limited:

Make a Fossil

#BacktoSchool at Whole Foods Market is all about the dinos and deelicicous roar-ganic snacks. We are making fossils and snacking on organiccs at this Kid's Club activity. Kids are encouraged to bring their favorite leaf or trinket to be placed in plaster and made into a "fossil". We will also have some trinkets available. Please RSVP at our customer service desk to reserve your seat. Seating is limited to the first 25 children registered.

Whole Kids Foundation: Rainbow Connection

Fruits and vegetables get their color from naturally occuring micronutrients. We are breaking down the rainbow into better bites of delicious fruiit kebabs.
