Yoga is so much more than just physical poses that help growing bodies improve strength, flexibility and endurance. Sign up the kids to join the JCC’s very own Yoga Instructor Candace, as she teaches the little Young Yogis (ages 4 -12) the lessons or "petals" behind the poses. The eight petals of yoga encourage self-care, generosity of heart and action, kindness toward others and so much more.  Registration requires signed permission slip of parent/legal guardian.

Join us for our screening of the documentary Food Stamped, a humorous yet informative documentary film that follows a couple as they attempt to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet on a food stamp budget. Throughout their adventures, they consult with members of U.S. Congress, food justice organizations, nutrition experts, and people living on food stamps to take a hard look at America’s broken food system.
