JAIME OLIVER FOUNDATION FOOD DEMONSTRATION
Saturday, May 11th
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Produce Department, FREE!

In celebration of our successful 5% day partnership benefitting the Jaime Oliver Foundation, JOFF is honoring our store with a trained JOFF chef who will be sampling out a secret recipe for our customers to try that will leave you begging for more!

Bonus: Our very own Whole Body Team Member Daniel will be sampling “Flow with the Flavonoids” Smoothie, made popular by Ellen Brown in her book Smoothies for Better Health Stop by for a sample and grab your very own take home recipe. You will be amazed by the delicious taste and super healthy ingredients like apples, tofu, avocado, sunflower seeds and more! (Jaime Oliver Demo Event located in our Produce Department)

Health Benefits of the “Flow with Flavonoids”  Smoothie: Both avocados and apples have a mildly sweet flavor, and a good amount of antioxidant flavonoids. Avocados are an excellent source of vitamin K, which acts as an antioxidant to deactivate free radicals that could damage the delicate fats that are the primary constituents of your cell membranes. In addition, avocados also provide dietary fiber, folate, potassium, and “good” lipids or fat.
