Join us for our annual “Taste of the Holidays.” We’ll be featuring our teams favorite items throughout the store so you can try some new holiday favorites for free! Demoing will be happening from 11-2 and 4-6.
Citrus Season is here! Clementine’s are not only incredibly tasty but are also a great deal right now. Sure they’re fun to peel apart and snack on, but these bright and refreshing pieces of citrus can also be a fun and unexpected ingredient in your holiday recipes. Stop by our store on Dec. 10th-12th from 11am-1pm for 3 days of Clementine recipe tastings. As an extra bonus, we’ll provide the recipe to help you on your way to incorporating new ideas for your holiday meals.

Food-focused holidays can seem scary for those with limited diets and for the family members of someone with food allergies, intolerances or dietary preferences. Whether you are gluten intolerant or cooking for someone that is, for the holidays, you will want to put some thought and effort into making it safe, comfortable and still delicious. Luckily, being gluten free for the holidays or supporting someone that is can be easy, healthy and tasty! During the workshop you will learn how to: 1) Avoid gluten cross-contamination during the holidays, 2) Communicate your needs and feel emotionally secure during food-focused holidays and 3) Remake some traditional holiday foods to be more healthy for everyone, while also being gluten free. The workshop will be followed by a Store Tour to illuminate, aisle by aisle, the myriad of gluten free ingredients that will be perfect for your holiday needs. Reducing your salt intake doesn’t have to be the end of delicious and savory foods in your life. Join Healthy Eating Specialist, Julie, in learning how to incorporate lower sodium products into your unique diet without having to sacrifice taste. The class will begin in our upstairs community room where we will learn how to read nutrition labels, discover what sodium measurements actually look like, and discuss tips on how to make the transition as easy as possible.
