With a focus on a vegan diet, Anya will offer instruction on how to successfully go "Plant-Strong" with the popular Engine 2 Diet book as a guide. Drop in weekly for $10 per class, or sign up for the series and pay only $35 and get a "starter kit" of products valued at $20.00. The book is recommended but optional. Our first wine dinner of 2013 features wines of Argentina! Selected by wine buyer Audree Sinnett, we will pair these wines with a multi-course "tapas style" dinner prepared by Chef Sarah Schoenberger and her Osteria staff. These dinners are spectacular and a great way to learn directly from experts from our store and wine purveyors. Boulevard Cheese School: American Farmstead Cheese

Join Ben, our Specialty Cheese Buyer and Certified Cheese Professional, for a night on American Farmstead Cheese. This cheese is unique because it's made on the same farm where the milk is produced, allowing for a fresher product. Additionally, by eliminating the transportation of the milk, agitation is prevented which can result in a rancid, less flavorful tasting cheese. The superior quality of this cheese is evident as American Farmstead Cheeses won quite a few awards at the ACS cheese competition. The lecture begins at 6 PM and is free of charge, but please register in advance by calling 216-464-9403. Ben will educate us on what makes American Farmstead chese special, introduce us to a few of his favorites, and of course, samples will be provided.
