Honeybee Sanctuary Fundraiser for Spikenard Farm & Honeybee Sanctuary
The 25 acre sanctuary is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Floyd, Virginia and is home to more than 30 honeybee hives. The mission of the sanctuary is to promote sustainable and biodynamic bee keeping through education and experienced based research while helping to restore the health and vitality of the honeybee.

Dinner at Whole Foods Market: Knife Skills

Jump start your cooking skills in this relaxed, fun filled class. We will teach you how to use your knives skillfully, safely, and efficiently as we prepare the meats and vegetables for a meal. You will also learn the basics of sautéing and making a pan sauce. At the end of class you may sit down and enjoy the meal you made. You will learn how to trim and bone meats, cut a variety of fruit & vegetables to fill out the meal. Students are requested to bring a chef's knife to the class.
