The Veggiecation© Program is a nutrition education program that introduces young children to the wonderfully delicious and nutritious world of vegetables. This is done by incorporating unique and kid-friendly vegetable preparations into fun activities and exciting experiences.  Young students have the opportunity to learn how to prepare a selection of kid-friendly healthy veggies dishes. Kids also take home complimentary Veggiecation character coloring pages, word games, mazes and stickers.

On Monday, October 24th, bring in nonperishable food items to a Connecticut Whole Foods Market and we will match the donations. Every item that Whole Foods Market donates will be free of artificial sweeteners, additives and preservative. All donated food will be donated to local food pantries. Food Day celebrates good food choices and we hope to “double the good” and provide all people with good food choices!
