WFM Donation Day! Eat Your Greens to Give Some Green and help put salad bars in local schools.
Sunday, September 9th
12:00 AM
Long Beach salad bar, $7.99/lb

On Sunday, Sept. 9, when you eat your greens, you also give some green to help put salad bars in local schools.  Whole Foods Market will donate $1 per pound purchased from its salad and food bars throughout the day to fund grants that put salad bars in schools.

Whole Foods Market is a founding member of the Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools initiative, which aims to bring healthy vegetable and fruit options to kids at school in support of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! effort to end childhood obesity.  On Sept. 9, your salad or hot food bar purchase will help local schools take advantage of this initiative with their own salad bar.

Every dollar donated will go to the Whole Foods Kids Foundation to fund salad bar school grants right here in [CITY/METRO].
