Earth Week April 21 – 27th – Let’s Celebrate!

Monday – “Plant an egg crate Garden” Kids Crafts from 3- 5 PM

Tuesday – “Zero Waste Day” All day!

Learn about Whole Foods Market Green Mission and help us work towards our Zero Waste. First step, sorting your trash! Let our TMs help and educate you on how we process recycling, compost and trash in our cafes. Have questions? We are here to help!

Wednesday, April 23rd – DIY “Upcycle” Event with Craftcourse- $10 registration fee (Will be donated to “The Nashville Food Project” by request of “Craftcourse”

Did you miss our first “Do It Yourself” event with Mandy Pellegrin from “Craftcourse”? This one will be even better!  In the Spirit of Earth Month, all projects will be created from re-purposed items that we all have in our homes. This time we are making a t-shirt necklace and whimsical planter out of plastic bottles! Sign-up or send questions by email to: Jennifer.anthony@wholefoods.com 

Registration fee includes event, drinks and light refreshments. Guests will bring home a Whole Foods Market re-usable tote and cute herbal plant in their newly created planter! Guests are asked to bring a t-shirt and plastic bottle of choice depending on size of planter you want to make.

Thursday – “Pollinator Awareness Day” All Day!

What Produce would we be able to buy without bees? Stop in and see what your options would be without bees. You also will have a chance to vote which not for profit will receive a new bee hive! And find out what you can do to help bees!

Saturday – “Good earth giveaway!”  All Day! Bring a bag or a bucket – we will fill it up with healthy soil to start your garden off right. We will be in the parking lot – won’t be able to miss us!

Sunday – “Be Good to your Body and the Environment” shampoo swap! 12-5 PM Ever wonder what happens to those soapy suds when they go down the drain? They end up in our waterways and affect the gentle balance of our ecosystem. Not to mention, what are all those chemicals doing in there anyway? Bring in bottle of your conventional and we will give you a bottle of 365!
