Flambe: Foods on Fire

This class will be taught by Chef Jeremy. The act of flambeing a dish is more than just flash in the pan and a pyrotechnics show, and we’ll show you how to use this technique safely and easily. In this exciting class we will explore the uses of fire as a cooking and finishing tool for food, and make some sample dishes using this impressive cooking method. Prepare to be dazzle and delighted by this feast for the senses and the fantastic flavors flambé can provide. This class can be gluten free upon request. Pre-registration is required. On the menu:

·         Caramelized Apple Tart with Honey and Goat Cheese

·         Butter Lettuce Salad with Candied Pecans and Bourbon Vinaigrette

·         Filet Mignon Steak Diane with Cremini Mushrooms and Demi Glace

·         Brown Sugar Bananas Foster with Vanilla Ice Cream
