This will be the second class in our deconstructing beer series! Certified Cicerone Jace Milstead will be taking a closer look at malt and the role it plays in beer. Get the inside scoop on what is gluten, how it effects our bodies, and where it's hidden in our foods. Don't despair, food can still be fabulously delicious! Julie Ward will show you how to make gluten-free meals to wow your friends.

About Julie:
Her fondest food memories are from hanging out in Chicago or home at the kitchen table watching, smelling and tasting. Her grandfather was a Pullman porter and cook on the trains until he opened his dental practice. Her grandfather inspires many of her recipes. Her grandfather’s sweet potato biscuits have been recreated as gluten-free goodness.

Julie has a B.S. in Mathematics from Spelman College and a Master’s in Public Policy from University of Southern California.
