Be sure to save some shopping for Wednesday, September 18! Our Roosevelt Square location, along with Redmond, Lynnwood, Bellevue, and South Lake Union locations will be donating 5% of the day's sales to the Beecher's Flagship Foundation. The Flagship Foundation is dedicated to working to change the way America eats by empowering kids, families and teachers with information and tools to make healthy food choices for life.

The Flagship Foundation provides "Pure Food Kids" workshops free to schools (focusing on 4-5th grade students), homeschool, after-school and summer programs, as well as parent groups in the Seattle and New York City metro areas.

The workshops use fun, hands-on and interactive “food detective” challenges to spark curiosity about what’s really in the foods we eat, teach people how to read nutrition labels and ingredient lists and raise awareness about how food companies are marketing to us.

Feed Homeless Kids this Holiday Season!
Monday, December 22nd
12:00 AM - 1:00 AM
Whole Foods Market Lynnwood,

Did you know? 400 homeless students in the Edmonds School District may go hungry over the weekend. Often these students leave school Friday, and do not have another meal until Monday morning. The Nourishing Network is a weekend meal program for homeless and low-income families in the Edmonds School District.

We are collecting donations at the registers throughout November and December. For every $30 donated, one student receives 3 snacks and 6 meals over the weekend, enough to keep their minds nourished. Money raised will be used to supply high-quality, nutritious and easy open food items from Whole Foods Market like canned tuna, canned soups, cereals, aseptic milks,  fruit snacks, peanut butter and more.

To learn more about the Nourishing Network and the work of the Foundation for Edmonds School District: www.foundationesd.org.
