Everyone is welcome to join us for a free cooking class and talk with Rhonda Peters, certified nutritional counselor and hypoallergenic food specialist, for a kid-friendly Snacking Sensation class. Peters will demonstrate how to make gluten free snacks, including roasted almond butter and raw almond butter from scratch as well as a delicious quick trail mix.

Kim Lahn, a culinary school graduate, has been cooking since before she could reach the stove without a chair. Her passion for cooking and her desire to find a healthier way of eating after beating breast cancer gave birth to her blog: Veg-In-Training where she shares her wonderful vegan recipes. Kim has also appeared on Channel 12′s Valley Dish showing viewers how to make delicious vegetarian meals at home. Kim's recipes emphasize lots of local, organic and plant based ingredients.

We welcome special guest chef, Executive Chef Jagger Griffin of Ocean Prime Steakhouse & Seafood, for a free cooking demonstration teaching how to create amazing seafood dishes using the freshest sustainable seafood. The class will teach two dishes and also include recipes. Everyone will be able to enjoy a taste of Chef Griffin's cooking.
