Shoeman Water Project Shoe Drive

All during the month of September, Whole Foods Market in Brentwood will collect gently used shoes for the Shoeman Water Project. This non-profit organization exports donated shoes to over 75 countries around the world including Kenya, Haiti and South America. Shoes are then sold to raise money to drill water wells, install water purification systems, repair pumps, and train local residents to operate and maintain pumps. Whole Kids Foundation Fundraising Campaign

The Whole Kid’s Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Whole Foods Market in July 2011. The organization’s mission is to improve children nutrition by supporting schools and inspiring families.

This year’s campaign will raise money to support Schools, School Garden Grants and a Healthy Teacher’s Program. Local recipients of garden grants include AlSalam Day School in Manchester, Maplewood-Richmond Heights Early Childhood Center in Maplewood and Clay Elementary in St. Louis.
