Also, we will have a magical (free) build-your-own salad-bar with all the fixings to help model the fun of "eating a rainbow" in honor of the Whole Kid’s Foundation! Health Starts Here Passport Event

With Dr. Dan O’Leary, DC

12 - 3pm, Free, Reservations not required

Whole Foods Market celebrates healthy eating for the New Year with a Health Starts Here (HSH) Passport event that showcases good for you foods and recipes. Using the Whole Foods Market HSH passport as a guide, shoppers can try nourishing foods in each department and learn how a few simple dietary changes can affect lifelong health. Shoppers who visit all the sample stations and complete the passport can enter to win a Healthy Pantry Makeover. The winner will receive a $50 Whole Foods Market gift card, and a list of suggested healthy pantry products recommended by our HSH experts. Whole Foods Market’s Health Starts Here program provides healthy eating education with the goal of empowering customers, team members and stakeholders to make the best health-supportive, delicious food choices to maximize personal health and vitality. HSH focuses on four pillars of healthy eating: real foods that are whole, fresh, natural, organic, local, seasonal and unprocessed; plant based foods; healthy fats from plant sources such as nuts, seeds and avocados; and nutrient dense foods. Dr. Dan O'Leary will be joining us to provide a more in depth look at holistic nutrition. He is a Chiropractor in Chesterfield where he helps patients achieve healthier lifestyles through chiropractic, nutrition and weight management. He has extensive hours of postgraduate training in nutrition and is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.
