Ashlea Miller is a writer for Whole Foods Market’s Global headquarters in Austin, Texas, where she lives with her husband, one lovable Terrier mutt, Tessie, and two entertaining tailless cats. She enjoys hiking with Tessie, exploring the wonderfully weird city of Austin, brewing the perfect mug of green tea and enjoying her husband’s amazing vegetarian cooking. Ashlea received her bachelor’s degree in journalism, is a former magazine editor-in-chief, and has written for several newspapers and magazines across the country, including The Boston Globe and Real Simple. She volunteers for local animal rescue organizations and enjoys educating people about animal cruelty and the benefits of a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle.
