Megan’s love affair with food began with clipping recipes from coupon circulars at a young age and forcing the results on her family. After earning a BA in journalism, she moved to Austin, Texas, and dove headfirst into the world of cooking and blogging about local food. She has worked as a copyeditor for almost ten years, and has contributed to Edible Austin and the international blog Simple Bites. In her spare time she gardens, teaches her son about food, and co-organizes a handmade food swap.
