Advanced Sushi Making

Sushi is more than just sliced fish on a cloud of rice. This class goes beyond the traditional rolls and nigiri and explores all that goes along with making sushi. First, we will learn how to prepare, slice and present a beautiful sashimi platter. We will make shrimp tempura rolls, magnificent dipping sauces, Miso soup, and a simple ginger-miso salad dressing. We will also explore sakes, both hot and cold, and pair them with some of the dishes.
