Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC) works to bring people together to grow, cook, share and advocate for good food.
The Stop CFC is Community Food Centres Canada's founding partner. For the past 30 years, The Stop has been increasing access to healthy food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds health and community and challenges inequality. Providing front line services to the community including drop-in meals, a healthy food bank, perinatal health, community action, bake ovens and markets, community cooking, peer advocacy, and urban agriculture. In 2012 The Stop served 61,376 healthy drop-in meals and harvested 10,000 kgs+ of produced from the gardening programs.
The Regent Park CFC  is currently being built in the newly redeveloped Regent Park neighbourhood and will strengthen existing community meals, advocacy, and gardening programs at 40 Oak St., pairing Community Food Centres Canada's proven program mix with the CRC’s state-of-the-art facility. The Regent Park CRC currently serves 1800 meals every week.
