Indian Summer--the time of transition in nature from the long, hot days of summer to the shorter, colder days of autumn and winter. Autumn helps us to transition from outdoor activities to a season of hibernation.
As the weather changes, our wardrobe changes. But all too often--due to various reasons--what we put into our insides remains the same, making the transition to winter difficult. As we prepare for the colder seasons by eating seasonally and cooking foods longer, we find that winter isn’t as bad as we once thought.
