Goose Island was born from the creative genius of John Hall, who on his travels around the world enjoyed a distinctive local brew in each region he visited. Hall was convinced that he could produce beers as good or better than those he'd tasted in his travels. In 1988, Goose Island Brewery was born as one of only a handful of brewpups in existence. Goose Island continues to brew an innovative selection of over 50 craft beers at the brewpup, the best of which are then bottled at the Fulton Street brewery. Goose island beers are now enjoyedin all 50 states and Europe!
